Chin Yen
Founder & Managing Director
Yen has been a data science practioner for 20 years, since the day when it was known as 'intelligent systems'. During this time he has accummulated extensive experience in helping banks, insurers, and other corporate clients to embrace analytics and derive competitive advantages from data. Prior to founding PulseMetrics, Yen was director of research and product management for a US company that is now part of Dow Jones. Together with his team, Yen has provided impactful solutions to major corporations in banking, insurance, retail and other industries, including companies like NASDAQ, Siam Commercial Bank, Aviva and Central Group.
Alan Tay
Partner, Human Analytics
Alan spent last 16 years in the human capital consulting and management, servicing both MNC & SME clients. He is an co-founder of a boutique HR consultancy firm where he partners senior management & HR leaders in hiring & retaining the right talent to create a strong organizational culture that breeds success. In his early years, Alan was in regional Finance roles with an US MNC & a HK investment holdings company. He is an Accountant by profession, having graduated from NTU with an Accountancy degree and started his career with Ernst & Young.
Wang Xin
Partner, Analytics
Wang Xin joined PulseMetrics over 10 years ago. Since that time he has been instrumental in leading key financial projects between Thailand and Singapore for some of the largest banks and insurers. He has gained practical experiences in applying analytical solutions for financial institutions with huge data set. Prior to becoming a partner in Singapore, he spent a year in Shanghai to form PulseMetrics China. Wang Xin's passion is exploring potentials of the open analytics ecosystem which will bring about new ways for incorporating data into machine-learning, advanced analytics and applications.
